Description
H.E. Harris folder holds Kennedy Half Dollars with any date, along with history on the inside flap. This is a tri-fold folder that opens flat for all at once viewing with a total of 36 blank openings, then closes to book size for easy storage. You get to put your precious collection of quarters in the folder and customize it as you wish. All H.E. Harris folders are made of acid-free materials for the protection and storage of your coins. The holes in this folder have a special LOCK-IN feature. But first, a word of caution: always hold a coin by the edge and never touch its obverse or reverse. We recommend you wear gloves when pressing your coins into place. Now that you are ready, simply place the coin with one edge tipped into the hole, and then press the high edge downward and toward the lowered edge (slantwise). Feel the snap? It’s locked in! President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, and Vice President Lyndon B Johnson was sworn in as president. Johnson signed the historic Civil Rights Act of 1964, often called the most prominent civil rights legislation since Reconstruction, and later that year passed sweeping anti-poverty legislation. The country remained divided, however, and more assassinations occurred during the 60’s: Malcom X in 1965; Marin Luther King Jr. in 1968; and Robert F. Kennedy, also in 1968, after winning the California presidential primary.
